Our heart is a very sensitive organ, especially when it’s about personal sphere of our life. It’s very easy to break, especially by people who are very close to our heart but on the other hand take our loss of heart for granted.
When Something is After Your Heart
When you have an activity or a person or an object that is after your heart, you feel heaven on earth. You are elated and have a feeling that life is worth fighting for when there's an activity or an occupation that is after your heart.
If your work is after your heart, it means that you get up, have breakfast and rush to work with enthusiasm, with endless creative ideas in mind – ideas and thoughts which you are sure will be appreciated and result in a worthy payoff – just like things should always happen in an ideal.
There are situations when a person is not too satisfied with his/her work, and in his/her free time finds an activity which is after his/her heart. It can be anything depending on a person's preferences and ideas – painting, spending time in the open, collecting stamps, writing – anything that soothes a person's mind and preferably doesn't harm the environment or surrounding people like smoking or alcohol abusing etc.
There are days which are after our heart. They are especially pleasant and successful. They either bring us good news in professional or personal sphere, or they just make us happy with wonderful weather, and i.e. splendid possibility to indulge in activities that are after our heart as well – hiking, camping, playing in the wild etc.
If we have a person that is after our own heart it means that we like this person, we feel comfortable talking to him/her, spending time with him/her, indulging in activities that are mutually pleasant and inspiring.
When something or somebody is after your heart it gives you nothing but pleasant emotions. Your main task here is cherishing these things and people and never taking them for granted.

Why would anyone eat his/her heart out? Is it some kind of inhuman entertainment or maybe there’s more to this expression than meets the eye? Why shy men never win fair ladies’ hearts while clowns win everybody’s hearts in an easiest way?
We must learn how to take heart instead of losing it in especially important situations. This makes us stronger plus helps us achieve worthy things when walking along the roads of our lives.
